Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for producing a robust pipeline of talent to meet organizational goals and enable success for our clients. The TAS is responsible for the full life cycle recruiting process including interfacing with prospective candidates, employees and management. This position will report to the Director, Human Resources and will play a key role in establishing a talent acquisition strategy aimed at attracting and retaining top industry talent that capitalizes on Thomas and Company's strong industry standing, winning culture and core values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Thomas and Company to ensure we provide a positive candidate experience.
- Consults with HR, Finance and Department Leaders to identify resource needs for T&C.
- Maintains position management and tracking for budget and forecast needs.
- Manages candidate application process and candidate records within application tracking system.
- Creates and implements sourcing strategies, drafts/updates job descriptions, posts internal/external job openings, leads candidate selection activities (e.g. qualifies candidates by conducting initial phone interviews, corresponds with hiring managers on feedback/next steps, coordinates interviews as necessary, negotiates and prepares offer packages, etc.)
- Facilitates pre-employment and on-boarding process for new hires.
- Responsible for new hire set up in payroll system.
- Organize and facilitate company career fairs and hiring events.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business, HR or related field of study required.
- Minimum 1-year high-volume experience required.
- 2-5 years proven success recruiting entry-level up to management positions, both technical and non-technical preferred. Agency experience is acceptable.
- Ability to work remotely with periodic on-site work at Nashville campus.
- General knowledge of federal and state laws relating to employment law.
- Experience with applicant tracking and payroll/HRIS required (Applicant Pool, Paycom a plus)
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
