IT Systems Analyst Tier II

The job of IT Systems Analyst is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of all IT infrastructure as well as supporting all employee-facing systems. This position will serve as a hybrid Support and Systems Administration role. They will be responsible for providing both Level 1 and Level 2 support to both infrastructure and employee requests or issues, with a primary focus on escalations to Level 2.
This person will work closely with other IT team members to analyze, route and resolve IT-related issues in the most efficient manner possible. The IT Systems Analyst will be responsible for ensuring uptime, performance, resources, and security of the managed computers and systems meets the needs of the company and its clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops understanding of business processes and IT environment. Develops and maintains documentation for current and new IT processes on an ongoing basis
- Provide both Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for employee issues and requests
- Identify opportunities for process improvement with new strategies and/or potential automation
- Maintains servers, computer systems, network equipment, software applications, and planning for and responding to service outages and other problems, utilizing RMM/management tools to correct and resolve said outages
- Prioritizing and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously while based on the security, system availability, and the overall needs of the company
- Work professionally and interactively with users to meet their needs and ensure continuance of the systems and service levels they require to perform their roles effectively
- Works collaboratively with internal IT staff on training and processes for secure, effective, and efficient support of the company's applications and systems
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related technical degree is preferred, equivalent job experience in related field acceptable
- 4+ years proven working experience in an IT infrastructure-related field
- Help desk experience and familiarity with IT ticket-driven workflows and functions, preferred
- Strong understanding of core Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, Windows Server 2012/2016+, Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Azure, Intune, Patch Management
- Strong working knowledge of network concepts/TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN alongside relevant troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience with VMWare technologies and management of virtual/non-virtual servers.
- Familiarity with firewalls, network switches, and other infrastructure used to support network infrastructure
- Capable of learning and adopting knowledge of various third-party line-of-business applications.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, preferred
- Experience with both iOS/Android mobile devices, preferred
- Up-to-date knowledge of IT governance best practices; SOC compliance experience preferred

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Can work with stressful situations to achieve desired business result
